Story of Raiders of the Lost Ark: The Adaptation

Who loved Raiders of the Lost Ark here? I would warrant almost everybody.
Now, who's made a home made fan movie about it? I'd expect to see considerably less hands in the air.
In Mississippi, a boy named Chris Strompolis back in 1981 saw it and loved it. And he went out and made his fan movie. This project was over eight years in the making. A neighborhood effort it was, with all his friends working on this. Figuring out how to make things blow up, fall under trucks, fly through windows, all the crazy stunts performed in the original by trained professionals. These kids did it.

I read this story and I was blown away. I would love to see this. It takes a certain caliber of fan and man to pull this off. And guess what? For all the Chicago-ans on the boards, you're lucky. You get to see it.
