This here's a list of movies I'm looking forward to/need to see. If you've got a good film, put it here! Share the joy!

Sin City- Yes, I've already seen it, but I need to see this again!

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire- What can I say? I love the books.

Unleashed- I know the whole asian martial arts genre is a little overdone now, but it's freakin' Jet Li!

Hitchker's Guide to the Galaxy- I can't believe I haven't gotten around to seeing it! Why have I been so busy lately?!

Kung Fu Hustle- Supposedly a great flick.

Being busy is no excuse. No excuse at all.

Go see Kung Fu Hustle. It's humorous and very cool.

Yeah, between Hustle and Hitchikers.

Next up, Layer Cake, followed by Epp 3.

I recently saw Kingdom of Heaven. It wasn't bad. There were good battles (a fair amount of blood, in case that freaks anyone out) and a decent plot. It's all about the crusades and such. Orlando Bloom was believable as his character and did a fairly good job. It's directed by Ridley Scott, the same guy who did Gladiator, but I didn't think it was as good. From what I've heard, it fairly accurate in the historical sense, but I don't really know enough about the subject to verify that.

I'm looking forward to Ep 3 and Batman Begins

Sin City was one of the best movies I've seen in a while. Kung Fu Hustle was pretty funny, and definitely enjoyable.

I can't wait for Batman Begins. Layer Cake looks really good too. And I'll probably just see Star Wars 3 for continuity's sake.

Apparently it has a lot of hardcore christians up in arms because it portrays both sides as being protaginists instead of just the muslims. I was actually very glad to hear this, I would just find it biggoted nonsense if it portrayed only the Muslims as the instigators. Wouldn't be the first movie to sacrifice historical accuracy for the sake of Western self-rightousness if it did. So yeah, I'm considering going to see that, I usually enjoy epic/historical films. (Except Alexander, that was just stupid.)

I saw KOH yesterday and I really liked it. I loved the way Orlando portrayed Balian and just how the movie was made. The music disappointed me because I was hoping it would be like the music form Gladiator. I thought all the actors did the job well, and the story was good. As for the Christians saying they're not happy because it portrays both sides as being protaginists instead of just the muslims, I thought the movie gave a good depiction of what some Christians did then. The Christians have always tried to hide the bad things they did and point the finger elsewhere. All in all, I was pretty content.

Kingdom Of Heaven was terrible. I don't care about Orlando Bloom. You know there's something wrong when you're halfway into a film and you have no idea what the conflict is or who to root for. The movie was also not believable. ::SPOILERS:: Some blacksmith goes to Jerusalem and becomes a military genius. What? Did I miss something?

Then we get to Ridley Scott's directing. In every movie he directs, in which their is a battle, there is moment where the battle goes to slow-mo, the music fades in, and we and the protagonist learn of the horrors of war. Way to go, Ridley, you tricked me in watching a bad Gladiator.

Is this only for new movies? If not, then here's what I've seen recently

Memento: EXCELLENT movie, I found it really intriguing - apart from a couple of minor logical flaws I really enjoyed this one.

A T1 connection, 160 gig hard drive, and absolutely nothing to do = lots of movie watching. I want to see Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind - does anyone have any comments on it?

Edit: I didn't see the "good" in the topic title. Sorry blush2.gif

MOD: That's fine. I took the liberty of editing it for you.

Logical flaws in Memento?
