10 more?!

Seems that Marvel is paying Paramount to bring ten, that's right, ten, more comic book movies. Two of the known ones are Captain America and Nick Fury (Sgt. of the Howling Commandos and head of S.H.I.E.L.D).

Now, I love comic books. I've enjoyed some of the recent comic book movies Hollywood gave us, but knowing that there will be TEN more? There is such a thing as too much. This is just ridiculous. Even fanboys should be protesting this.

That is gay. Jesus, do they even HAVE that many? They're might have to bring out the REALLY obscure ones.

Other than movies for She-Hulk, Iron Man, and Thor, I can't even think of any more popular ones.

My problem with this is it sounds as though they're going for quantity over quality. As a loyal Marvel fan it pains me to say this, but it sounds as though the company is trying to milk the comic book movie craze before it goes out of style, something that I'm very much against. I mean if they have ten great scrips sitting there and Paramount has a buy nine and we'll make the tenth for free deal then great, but if it's just a ploy then I hope they change their mind.

Of course it's quantity over quality. Fans of a comic will see any film incarnation of their favorite at least once. It's a friggin' gold mine.

I'd love to see Blade of the Immortal make it to the big screen. It'd have to be a Koreon film though cause the US would never go that bloody.

Admittedly I'd kill to see "Thundercats" or maybe "Batman vs. Predator" as movies, but then again I'm just weird

Do they even have 10 comics to make into movies? I mean, You've got X-Men, Spiderman, Hulk (all done already), Fantastic Four, Captain America (in the works I believe), and then what? I'll see sequels to X-Men and Spiderman, but I don't think the other ones are as catchy.

They want to do Ghost Rider, which I think is stupid, it wasn't a good enough character to carry a comic how will it carry a movie. There's also Silver Surfer, don't know why.

Not those Avengers, these Avengers... That movie was based on the campy '60s British TV series...

HOLY.CRAP ....that would single handedly make it the hottest most awesome movie of all time. I would never leave the theater...just keep watching and drooling...

Man, 10 more movies...I was never really into comic books, but I did read the phantom a lot, and the movie got that out of my system quickly enough. I guess they could make a couple more batman and superman movies, but what else is there? silver surfer? There is no way that could be made into an enjoyable experience.
