In the US, "The Interpreter" starring Nicole Kidman and Sean Penn ended up in the #1 slot.

Weekend Box Office

I've heard that the movie is good, but a bit long and tedious.

Does anyone have any opinion on any of the movies in the top 10?

(I apologize for the brevity of this post. I'm in a bit of a rush today so this is about all I could wing.)

If you've read any of my posts in the Movie forum you know that Sin City will be topping my list for the next little while. Undoubtedly the best movie I have seen thus far this year and looking ahead thee's a good chance it will be the best movie of the year in my books.

The only other flick I have seen on that list is Sahara. I was wickedly sick on Friday and I wanted to get out of the house, but I didn't really have a lot of energy so a movie was the order of the night. In all honesty it wasn't bad. Nothing phenominal but a decent popcorn flick. All the acting was well done for the roles and the story wasn't bad. Of note was the repoir between Matther McConaughey and Steve Zahn. Their friendship was probably the highlight of the movie. If you're looking for a night out of the house with some laughs and fun it's worth checking out.

Edit: I haven't read any of Clive Cussler's books so I can't say how the movie compared to the book. My dad, however, has read every Cussler book in print and he seemed to be satisfied with the movie. He said it wasn't as in depth as the book, but still a decent interpretation.

I haven't seen any of them. Of course, a lot of those movies aren't even out yet over here.
