Yorick
Okay, I'm not really holding my breath on either of these. My descriptions are going to be damn vague because they're based on old shattered memories. Let's give it a shot!

1. A TV thing, I want to say it was on VH1, a couple years back. It was a collection of small movie-story things. The only one I can remember offhand involved a guy who could like, get glimpses of what musical performers were going to become popular, and at one point he saw his daughter's future, she played piano, and *SPOILERS* at the end he cut her hand off in the garbage disposal. */SPOILERS* But, yeah, there were 3 or 4 little movie things, I think.

2. This one goes years back. It had to be when I was a kid. I'm thinking AT LEAST 10 years ago. Anyway, it was another movie on TV, and, I don't imagine it was very high budget. The only thing I can remeber about it is one scene where there's a dog or a wolf kind of monster under a staircase, and a penny falls down, or something. I keep thinking it involved short stories by Stephen King, but that's kind of speculation.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I can't say I remember them, Yorick, but I will try and find those for you. If anyone can remember them, please help Yorick.

The first one sounds familiar.

...Was one of the other ones a story about murderous travelers or something?

Sorry Yorick the first one doesn't ring any bells, but I think you're right about the second. I can't say exactly but it does remind me of a Steven King style movie. If it comes to mind I'll let you know.

I wouldn't put it out of the realm of possibility, it does sound kind of familiar, but I really don't remember.

I glanced through his writing credits around that time for IMDB, but couldn't really find anything close to what I imagined.
