Waycos
Have been captured so perfectly here.

Goats comic Strip

And the story arc start is here

Good Hitler vs Space Hitler
Yorick
Meh. I love the older movies, Sean Connery and Roger Moore, but the new ones are awful.
Waycos
Exactly, they're nothing but a series of giant stunts strung together by the storyline that a child wouldn't even come up with.
Yorick
On one hand, I'm glad that Brosnan is done, but judgiing on actors I've seen being mentioned for the part, I'm really dreading what this is turning into. Give me the good old days with the original M and Q and storylines that were actually interesting.
someguy
The original Q died, and probably M too, so we're never gonna have a redo of the good old days.

Judi Dench (most recent M) isn't dead, although Bernard Lee who played M in the 60's and 70's is. But I agree, the Connery/Moore ones were the best. I am one of about three people on the planet who think Roger Moore was the best Bond.

To be honest I've always been at a tie between Connery, Moore, and Dalton.
Gi@nT
Connery will be the first and only Bond in my books. Moore was horrid, Dalton was alright and Lazenby (who was Bond in On Her Majesty's Secret Service) wasn't half bad. The new ones started alright, but now they're exactly what Waycos said:

Brosnan was alright too I guess.

As for the possibly new Bonds, I think that Clive Owen could be good if the writting is good and Julian McMahon might be okay. But yeah, they'll never beat the classic Connery Bond.
Yorick
Lazenby was awful. I haven't even been able to sit through that entire movie. Brosnan was okay, but it seemed like too typical of a role for him.

Annnnnd.

For new bonds, they're talking about Orlando Bloom for Young James Bond, and Daniel Craig for the standard James Bond. I'm not familiar with Craig, but Bloom is terrible. Clive Owen could be good, I really liked him in Sin City. Hugh Jackman was also mentioned, but I don't think he really fits the part.

I guess the new James Bond movie is going to be a remake of Casino Royale too, which isn't one that I've seen. I also skipped out on seeing Never Say Never Again (though I guess that one wasn't technically a bond film?) and I didn't see the newest one. But I've seen (and own) the others.
Waycos
I have no problem with Brosnan, but they just didn't have the story to really show case any actor that would play the part. And I just don't think hollywood will change and try to go with the old style of Bond films.

Just so you know Casino Royale was only made as a spoof of the James Bond franchise. You can find more info here. Casino Royale was actually one of the first Bond books by Flemming, so hopefully that means the film will have some classic Bond style too it, but we'll have to wait and see.

Just wanted to add that I found this bit of information. Apparently it looks as though Pierce Brosnan will be James Bond again. Check out the details here.
