I just can't see WW being done and coming off well. Maybe I just can't get the 70's version out of my head, but she's just to campy.

Well i never had a chance to see the 70's version, but seeing how much of a comic geek Weldon is he may actually do it justice.

I always thought Wonder Woman was pretty much the rubbishest comic character around... I think JW will be running uphill trying to turn her into a decent film.

Well, I'm both an obsessive fan of X-Men and Whedon's work, I have to say that while I am disapointed he's not on the project, I think Vaughn will do well. Also, I think if there's anyone who can make a good WW, it's Whedon. The guy has an enormous comic book obsession, as well as his experience with Buffy which was able to make corny good. I think this will come off well, but I don't think it will be from an angle anyone expects.

Fucking awesome, I love Beast. Gambit is pretty awesome as well, and I frankly don't give a flying turd about Angel, so I hope it's at least going to be a useful character.

I'm not too happy about Angel being a girl. If they needed a female character they should haver throw in Psylocke.

Sweeet! I don't care what anyone says, Gambit was definitely the best X-man ever. Better then Wolverine. Angel, a girl? WTF? I suppose we'll have to see, but that just isn't kosher.

I heard about that, yeah Gambit is my all time favourite X-Men, possibly even comic superhero (still in internal debate). They better do him justice though, otherwise I'll be pissed.

They've done pretty well so far. Iceman better grow some balls in this one. He's one my favorite x-men. So far, he's just been a douche.

Will "Angle" have the metal wings? Didn't we see an xray of those in the fight between Wolverine and Deathstrike?

Iceman was always a douche, he was just usually a self-centered stuck up sarcastic douche.

I can't believe they're adding 3 in this one. I mean, even in the first movie I felt a lot of the character development got squished and cut to make room for plot. There are just so many, that people like Storm ended up being \two-dimensional characters.

You can only work in so much character developement in 2 hours, and give the rest of the characters enough lines to not fade into the background. I dunno if this is gonna work.

Yeah, but at least he used his powers once in a while. All Iceman has done in the movie is shoot some mist. Lame.

I kind of like the variety it gives. Also, Storm was always really boring, probably the worst of the bunch. They need more villains as well, seeing as they have so many X-Men.

I want to see Apocalypse so damn bad. I was pretty disappointed with Sabretooth. Mystique and Magneto were spot on though.

But, they're going to have to throw out all the Gambit/Rogue stuff from the comics, aren't they? Since they've already made alternative plans for Rogue in the previous two films. Though I never liked their depicition of Rogue in the first place, she was too sappy

Yeah, they've already thrown out most of the things from Rogue and made her into a fusion with Jubilee. In the movie she's just a typical teenage girl that can suck the life/energy out of people. They didn't even go into the Mystique/Miss Marvel(?) thing to get her super strength and flying. How sad.

I liked Sabretooth, and didn't like Mystique. She's not supposed to be a ninja she's supposed to be espionege like. She always used weapons and always got beat up when it came to hand to hand fighting because she's not physically strong. Nor did she really have more then 3 lines throughout the whole movie. She was totally silent. The big fight in #1 should have been between Wolverine and Sabretooth. My only hope is that they are saving it for the Wolverine movie.

They had to beef up Mystique because there are so few villains. I hope that they realise that everyone thinks Iceman is a douche and get Rogue to ditch him for Gambit. The Rogue/Gambit chemistry and plots was one of the best things that comic had going for it. Sabretooth sucked in the movie, and they could have done so much more with Toad. Nonetheless, provided they don't fuck up Gambit and keep the focus on Wolverine rather than some of the shittier characters (Cough STORM cough), this is going to be a kick ass movie. The plot outline has already been leaked by the way.

The official one or some fanboys rambling about the Phoenix?

If anyone followed the comics and saw the end of the second movie, there's no way it's not phoenix.

Well, they could steer clear of it completely. Like, Jean and Phoenix go and do their own thing in space all through the movie and you don't see it, but we'd probably all feel a little gipped.

I actually don't like the idea of the entire Phoenix thing because it brings all the She'Ar (spelling?) and space things into play and I just hated that entire thing.

It's also pretty undeniable that Magneto will be back, and this time with Pyro, so maybe we'll too see Blob and Avalanche, which would be neat. And Icemann will play a bigger role too, one would think.

I want to see Apocalypse, dammit. Or Shadowking.

Okay, Iceman is so going to have a subplot of him facing off with Pyro (whole 'fallen friend'm deal). There'll be a whole lot of Pheonix stuff and hopefully plenty of Gambit.

I never liked the Phoenix stuff from the comics, I really hope they don't get into it too much in the film plot.

I'm hoping they do the whole Gambit sells the mutants out to Sinister or the Sentiles story line.

Nah, they haven't introduced the Sentinals enough. I hope they do an improved version of the Pheonix storyline, and introduce the Sentinals. And lots and lots of Gambit. To continue with my impossible dreams I hope they Rogue-ify Rogue and maybe distract Iceman by introducing Jubilee. Rogue is faaaaar to Jubilee in the movies. Also, if they introduce Jubilee they have an easy way to bring in the Sentinals.

Well its teh morlocks that he has to sell out .......BUT....... if he joins up with teh x-men then sells the X-men out, like draws a map for them to break into the school by teh tunnels then they could use that as an excuse....

BLATANTLY gonna be Jean Grey/ Pheonix story line - but i doubt they could get teh Madoline Prior story line envolved (Goblin Queen).

I would LOVE to see teh Sentinels in there!! could you imagine massive 60 foot purple robots crashing in your living room and shizzle? i think thats teh way forward to make it an epic comic book film - then forcing teh x-men out into the public (which wasn't tthat great in the comic books, but i think the whole thing could come off well in teh films).

hmmmm, yeah cameos or new characters - the colossus cameo was actually a fluke because they had extra money at teh end of filming and added all those effects in. Hank McKoy (not beast) was cameo'ed in the bar scene on teh TV maybe he could be expanded. but teh female producer type person said that she wanted to see angel, beast, gambit and colossus - maybe Bishop in teh next films.

Apocolypse would be too pimp!!! that dude from SG-1 would be a supurb choice - i think its teh lips and teh eyes!!! imagine him with the makeup on and teh red contacts in!!!!

FINALLY (at last) they have said that its not just a three film set they are doing, they are considering anything up to 5-6 films of teh x-men, so rememebr true belivers - theres plenty of stories to tell!! (AOA? the 12? ONSLAUGHT?!?!??!?!- wicked way to tie all the superheros films into one!!!) - FUCK ME!!! YEAH!!! MASSIVE COMIC CROSS OVER MOVIES!!! EACH ONE TELLS A DIFFERENT PART OF TEH STORY!!! (jesus wept!!!)

Jubilee has already been the movies. In the 1st she was in the classroom with Rogue and iceman (the girl looked just like her) and in the 2nd she was in the pit and you hear Ororo call out to her (thought she, different actress from the 1st movie, didn't look as much like Jubilee).

Yup, she was also in a scene at the end of one of them, I forget which. But, again, in class, in Xavier's office, where he asked if any of them had read The Once and Future King.

It would be nice to see Juggernaught too.
