They have completed an Aqua Teen Hunger Force movie and it is unknown at this time if it will go straight to DVD or if there is enough interest for a theatrical release. This news comes straight from the horse's mouth of Matthew Maiellaro and verified by Dave Willis (writer/co-creator/co-producer of ATHF).
This was announced over the weekend in LA at the Museum of Television and Radio’ William S. Paley Festival.
I love Aqua Teen, I don't know how an actual feature-length story ark with the series would be. It's hilarious in the 15 minute format, and I've even sat through the dvds a few times - but a continual story in the frame of an hour and a half or so.. I just don't know.

I liked the show, but my main problem with it is that there's no real replayability. I can only stand to watch the episodes once each, and after that they just bore me. I doubt I'd be able to stand the multihour cinema release.

I love the show. I can watch each episode an exorbitant amount of times and still enjoy it.
...If they can pull this off, I'd love to see it on the big screen.
