My only real rule is if you want feedback or constructive critque on some work ASK FOR IT. If you just wanna show off, that's good too Heck, that's great! I do it all the time! But if somone doesn't ask, please don't leap all over them.

Questions on the arts are also welcome. I had some 'how to' posts in the old forum that I'll try to resurrect. My forte is drawing, but I'll take a go at almost anything if I think I can help and I encourage others to do so as well.

I definitely think that the chick in Janruary 28th's comic was the nicest looking of the LICD temporary (Til Sprung) cast. Her face was long. It looked more.. horse shaped rather than pig shaped. And I DO have a reason for posting this.

If it's art, I'm there.
So here am I.

I'm interested in pretty much anything that has to do with the arts.
I'm primarily a musician, but I do enjoy drawing quite a bit, and I LOVE writing poetry though I'm still bashful about sharing my work...I have about...200 pages worth of poems that I've written since I started writing. I write to make sense of things...

I took a little bit of dance, want to take more....
I'm just...an arts fiend.

Right now I'm trying to design something that could turn into a tattoo for myself.
It's the only tattoo I've ever considered THIS seriously (still not sure I'd actually get one, and if I do it'll be in a discreet location)

It's gonna say "All you need is love"
I'm picturing this in a very flourished style calligraphy (i do calligraphy, but I don't do horrendously well at the delicate flourishes) where the word love is more bold than the rest of the saying... I'm thinking I'd like the L to be two roses....and I'd like to throw in some small symbols of love...maybe a set of lips and a few small hearts...nothing stupid looking, I want it to be really elegant and light... I'm still working on it...

Ideas would be appreciated. Also, just cuz, I'm thinking of putting a treble clef into the design....

What thinkst thou (s) of this?

i also want tattoos...but as a sleeve with "Semper Fi" in the center as a starting point.
