Nice someone finally got it! Way to go QSan! I was beginning to have my doubts about the taste of this crowd, which means if you haven't seen it, definately check out Poolhall Junkies. Well worth the $4 rental.

Ok, that one was kinda obscure. Great movie, though. Withnail and I. It's really funny.

The Illusionist
Dec 31 2004, 08:13 PM
I think that one is Lawrence of Arabia?
linuxelf
Dec 31 2004, 08:22 PM
Sorry. Lawrence of Arabia was a great movie, but it was Peter O'Toole, not Carry Grant. Think Hitchcock...

The Man Who Knew Too Little! WONDERFUL movie. And I'll cede my picture to anyone who wants it. I suck at that stuff.

Hopefully there are people here who are familiar with Peter Jackson's pre-LOTR films.

Pfft. I shoulda been here earlier, dammit. I certainly didn't need to look that one up to recognize it.
I've got the director's edition of Legend, and it's a far cry better than the theatrical release. Not that the original release was bad, but it adds a whole new flavor to the film. And a completely different soundtrack.
