Heya Kids,
The legality of this is questionable at best. I am going to be vague so as to not get Blind Ferret in trouble.
Let's say there is a website which is owned and operated by the world's most popular web browser. This website allows users to upload their own videos for every other user to watch in streaming video. Many who use the service breach many copyright laws. Accordingly, you can find live performances by musicians that are otherwise difficult to obtain.
If a one such user wished to save such a performance onto his or her hard drive in order to transfer it to his or her MP3 player, how would this get done? in the strict hypothetical, is there a software that would allow a user to capture that performance? Likewise, what steps would be needed to locate that audio-video file on the page's source?
Any and all help would be appreciated.
Thank you.

P.S.: Yeah. I know pirating is bad. Tell that to the guys who gave us Bob Dylan bootlegs for 4 decades, thanks.
