A man who found £2,000 in the pocket a second hand shirt in Buenos Aires tracked down the original owner.
The man, known only as Claudio, took the shirt back to the shop where he had bought it, reports Clarin newspaper.
Claudio told the shop assistant what had happened and, between them, the two tracked down the former owner of the shirt and returned the money.
The money's rightful owner, Patricia Grieco, had sold the shirt, which had belonged to her late father, because she was short of cash.
She said: "With examples like this one I am convinced that we can achieve a better world."

Think about it. She was short on cash, so she sold a shirt with £2,000 in the pocket. That doesn't strike you as boneheaded?

I wouldn't necessarily say that's a boneheaded move. I would've returned out of a sense of the right thing to do. Only 1 bonehead here, it's actually nice to know that there are honest people around.

true that
reminds me of teh story of this guy who went around NYC
conducting an experiment of how many cab drivers would rip him off
NYC is notorious as one of the least friendly countries in USA
so this guy goes around riding cabs all day
and this is what he finds:
only one cab driver tried to rip him off(out of like forty)
the majority took him straight to his destination without cheating him at all
and a few refused him service because his destination was so close that it would waste his money and the cab drivers gas.
interesting stuff isnt it?

Really? That's interesting. So it stands for New York COUNTRY, then, not City? When'd they change it? I was not informed of this! They didn't mention anything in the newsletter.

I'm not sure if I'd return it. If I found a wallet, I would, but $2000 in a shirt? That's an awful lot of investigation needed to find the owner. And ultimately I'm lazy.
