TITLE BOX
In the title box, RAYNE sticks his head into the kitchen with a question.
RAYNE
Will you love me more if I win awards?
MOM
I'll love you the exact same no matter what.
Next Panel, a sullen RAYNE pulls his head back, holding a Pulitzer in his hand, and facing the committee in the hallway.
RAYNE
Thanks for nothing, Pulitzer award committee.
NEXT ROW
RAYNE'S BEDROOM. RAYNE is on the floor working on a project, trying to plan something out when DAD walks in.
DAD
Why can't you work as hard at school as you are on this-
DAD looks at the papers, RAYNE shakes his head.
DAD
Moon?
RAYNE
That's no moon.
DAD finally realizes that RAYNE is trying to build the Death Star.
RAYNE gets up, and looks to DAD.
RAYNE
Can you take me to the bank? I need a loan.
DAD
I have a bad feeling about this.
